Regulation 44 Payment of grants for fees

Subject to paragraphs (2) and (3), the Secretary of State shall pay the grant in respect of fees for which the student qualifies under regulation 37(1)(a) to the appropriate academic authority after a valid request for payment has been received.

The Secretary of State may make payments under paragraph (1) at such times and in such instalments as she sees fit.

The Secretary of State may make provisional payments under paragraph (1) in such cases as she deems appropriate.
