# The Education (Student Support) Regulations 2005, Paragraph 7: Calculation of parent’s partner’s residual income


The income of a new eligible student’s parent’s partner whose income is part of the household income by virtue of paragraph 3(2)(a) shall be determined in accordance with paragraph 6, references to the eligible student’s partner being construed as references to the new eligible student’s parent’s partner, and references to the eligible student being construed as references to the new eligible student’s parent.
