# The Education (Student Support) Regulations 2007, Regulation 52: Amount of the grant for travel – overseas study


The amount of grant payable under regulation 51 in respect of an academic year is calculated as follows—
X−£290 where—
X is the aggregate of the expenses that the eligible student is obliged to incur in each qualifying quarter.
