# The Education (Student Support) Regulations 2008, Regulation 49: Amount of the grant for travel – courses in medicine and dentistry

The amount of grant payable under regulation 48 in respect of an academic year is equal to the reasonable expenditure that the Secretary of State determines the eligible student is obliged to incur for the purposes set out in that regulation less £295.
