# The Education (Student Support) Regulations 2008, Regulation 50: Qualifying conditions for the grant for travel – overseas study

A grant is available to an eligible student in respect of the reasonable expenditure which he is obliged to incur in each qualifying quarter within or outside the United Kingdom for the purpose of attending as part of his course the overseas institution or the Institute.
