# The Education (Student Support) (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2026, Regulation 4: Amendment to regulation 8


After regulation 8(1) (designation of other courses) insert—
“(1A) When specifying a course under paragraph (1), the Welsh Ministers may specify that the course is to be treated as being provided by an ordinary provider for the purposes of regulation 40(2)(c)(i).”
