"long_title": "These Regulations amend the Education (Teachers) Regulations 1993 by adding to the cases and circumstances where a teacher employed at a school is exempted from the requirement to be a qualified teacher as defined by the 1993 Regulations. The new exemption applies where the teacher holds a teaching qualification recognised by a competent authority outside the United Kingdom and is in temporary employment as a teacher for a period of not more than two years. There is also a requirement that the teacher should not be employed in a particular post in a school for a period or periods of more than four months in total.",
