Regulation 1 Citation and commencement

(1)

These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Teachers) (Amendment) Regulations 1996 and shall come into force on 1st August 1996.

Any reference in these Regulations to the principal Regulations is a reference to the Education (Teachers) Regulations 1993^f1.

None of these amendments or modifications are relevant for the purposes of these Regulations with the exception of S.I. 1995/602 which added a definition of “pupil referral unit”.
