  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations amend the Education (Training Grants) Regulations 1987 (“the principal Regulations”).\nFirst, regulation 10 of the principal Regulations is amended so that claims are no longer required to relate to expenditure over one or more quarters or to contain the information specified in paragraph (3) of that regulation but are instead to relate to expenditure over such period and contain such particulars as the Secretary of State may determine. Consequential amendments are made to other provisions in that regulation (regulation 3).\nSecondly, regulation 12 of the principal Regulations is amended to enable the Secretary of State to withdraw or, after consulting the authority, vary conditions determined under that regulation (regulation 4).",
