  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations amend the Education Tribunal for Wales Regulations 2021 (“the Tribunal Regulations”).\nRegulation 2 of these Regulations substitutes a new regulation 17(2) of the Tribunal Regulations to provide that the case statement period for a claimant making a claim under the Equality Act 2010 is 8 weeks beginning on the date that the acknowledgement of receipt of a claim is received.\nThe Welsh Ministers’ Code of Practice on the carrying out of Regulatory Impact Assessments was considered in relation to these Regulations. As a result, it was not considered necessary to carry out a regulatory impact assessment as to the likely costs and benefits of complying with these Regulations.",
