# The Education Tribunal for Wales Regulations 2021, Regulation 6: Alternative dispute resolution

Extent: E+W

(1) The President or the tribunal panel must, where appropriate, bring to the attention of the parties the availability of any alternative procedure for the resolution of the dispute.
(2) If the parties wish to use the alternative dispute resolution procedure the President or the tribunal panel may, provided that it is compatible with the overriding objective of these Regulations, stay the appeal or the claim.
