# The Eggs and Chicks (Wales) Regulations 2010, Regulation 30: Giving of penalty notice for penalty offence

An enforcement authority may give a penalty notice to a person (“P”) where the authority has reason to believe that P has committed an offence under regulation 16 by contravening or failing to comply with a provision of Regulation (EC) No 2160/2003 mentioned in column 1 of Schedule 3.
