  "long_title": "The Elections Act 2001 postponed certain local government elections from 3rd May 2001 to 7th June 2001. This postponement also has an impact on the dates by which annual meetings must be held by joint authorities, police authorities and certain parish and community councils. This Order modifies three provisions in the Local Government Act 1972 relating to such meetings. The date by which a joint authority or police authority must hold its annual meeting in 2001 is extended to 31st August, and the date by which a parish or community council which is not holding ordinary elections in 2001 must hold its annual meeting is extended to the end of June.",
