  "heading": "Holders of relevant elective offices",
  "text": "(1) A person falls within this section if the person holds a relevant elective office or a relevant Scottish elective office.\n(2) For the purposes of subsection (1) a person is to be treated as holding a relevant elective office or a relevant Scottish elective office during any period when—\n(a) the person has been elected as, or declared to be returned as, the holder of the office, but\n(b) their term of office has not yet begun.",
