  "heading": "Civil penalties",
  "text": "(1) The maximum amount of a civil penalty is—\n(a) £10,000 for each relevant charge point in respect of which there has been a breach of regulation 4;\n(b) £250,000 for a breach of paragraph 8 of this Schedule 2.\n(2) Before requiring a person to pay a civil penalty pursuant to paragraph 10, the enforcement authority may require the person to provide such information as is reasonable in connection with determining the appropriate amount of the civil penalty within such period as is reasonable.\n(3) The civil penalty is payable into the Consolidated Fund.",
