# The Electrical Equipment for Explosive Atmospheres (Certification) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1998, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations amend regulation 12A(5) of the Electrical Equipment for Explosive Atmospheres (Certification) Regulations 1990 and ensure that a certificate of conformity issued on 30th September 1998 can take advantage of the transitional provisions of that regulation.
