# The Electrical Equipment for Explosive Atmospheres (Certification) (Amendment) Regulations 1998, Regulation 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Electrical Equipment for Explosive Atmospheres (Certification) (Amendment) Regulations 1998 and shall come into force on 28th February 1998.
(2) In these Regulations, “the principal Regulations” means the Electrical Equipment for Explosive Atmospheres (Certification) Regulations 1990 and, for the purposes of regulation 2(3), “the Framework Directive” has the same meaning as that in the principal Regulations.
