# The Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016, Paragraph 5: Amendment of the Merchant Shipping and Fishing Vessels (Provision and Use of Work Equipment) Regulations 2006


In the Schedule to the Merchant Shipping and Fishing Vessels (Provision and Use of Work Equipment) Regulations 2006, omit the entry relating to the "Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 1994" and in the appropriate place—
(a) in the first column insert “The Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016”;
(b) in the second column insert the S.I. number of these Regulations.
