  "text": "(1) The Electricity (Applications for Consent) Regulations 1990 shall be amended as follows.\n(2) In regulation 3(1) (interpretation) after “these Regulations-” insert–\n““EIA development” has the same meaning as set out in regulation 2(1) of the Electricity Works (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2000;”.\n(3) In regulation 11(1) (fee payable on applications for consent) for the Table substitute–\n“\nTABLE\nSubject matter of application for consent\nFee\n1. Overhead line with a total distance not exceeding 15 km which is not an EIA development\n£150.00\n2. Overhead line with a total distance not exceeding 15 km which is an EIA development\n£2,000.00\n3. Overhead line with a total distance–\n(a) exceeding 15 km but not exceeding 50 km\n£15,000.00\n(b) exceeding 50 km but not exceeding 100 km\n£25,000.00\n(c) exceeding 100 km\n£50,000.00\n4. Construction or construction and operation of a generating station of megawatt capacity–\n(a) not exceeding 100\n£15,000.00\n(b) exceeding 100 but not exceeding 200\n£20,000.00\n(c) exceeding 200 but not exceeding 500\n£30,000.00\n(d) exceeding 500\n£50,000.00\n5. Extension or extension and operation of a generating station resulting in increase in megawatt capacity–\n(a) not exceeding 100\n£15,000.00\n(b) exceeding 100 but not exceeding 200\n£20,000.00\n(c) exceeding 200 but not exceeding 500\n£30,000.00\n(d) exceeding 500\n£50,000.00\n6. Extension of a nuclear generating station by retrofitting of emission control equipment\n£5,000.00\n7. Any other extension of a generating station\n£1,000.00\n8. Operation only or change to manner of operation of a generating station\n£1,000.00\n”.\n(4) In regulation 11(2) for “heads 3 to 7” substitute “heads 5 to 8”.",
