# The Electricity (Connection Charges) Regulations 2002, Regulation 1A: Application

Extent: E+W+S

(1) These Regulations do not apply in cases where a first connection is made on or after 6th April 2017.
(2) In paragraph (1), “first connection” has the meaning given in paragraph 1 of Schedule 5B to the 1989 Act.
