# The Electricity Supply Industry (Rateable Values) (Wales) Order 2000, Introduction: Introductory text

The National Assembly for Wales makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State, by sections 143(1) and (2) of, and paragraph 3(1) and (2) of Schedule 6, to the Local Government Finance Act 1988 and now vested in it in so far as exercisable in Wales.
