  "text": "(1) The market surveillance authority is—\n(a) in Great Britain, within its area, the weights and measures authority; and\n(b) in Northern Ireland, within its area, the district council.\n(2) The market surveillance authority must make adequate arrangements for market surveillance under these Regulations and RAMS (in its application to apparatus).\n(3) When a market surveillance authority carries out market surveillance under these Regulations, Part 1 of Schedule 7 has effect.",
