# The Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations 2016, Regulation 74: Transitional provision

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

Nothing in these Regulations prevents the making available on the market or the putting into service of equipment which—
(a) is in conformity with the requirements of Directive 2004/108/EC on the approximation of laws, regulations and administrative provisions of the Member States relating to electromagnetic compatibility ; and
(b) is placed on the market or put into service before the commencement date.
