# The Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations 2016, Paragraph 15

Extent: E+W+S

The Secretary of State and the other approved bodies may, on request, obtain a copy of the Type examination certificate and any additions thereto. On request, the Commission and the Member States may obtain a copy of the technical documentation and the results of the examination carried out by the approved body. The approved body must keep a copy of the Type examination certificate, its annexes and additions, as well as the technical file including the documentation submitted by the manufacturer, until the expiry of the validity of that certificate.
