# The Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations 2016, Paragraph 5

Extent: E+W+S

Where an approved body finds that the essential requirements or the corresponding designated standards or other technical specifications have not been met by a manufacturer, it must require that manufacturer to take appropriate corrective measures and must not issue a certificate.
