# The Electronic Communications (Security Measures) Regulations 2022, Regulation 1: Citation, commencement and extent

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Electronic Communications (Security Measures) Regulations 2022.
(2) These Regulations come into force on 1st October 2022.
(3) These Regulations extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
