# The Electronic Communications (Universal Service) (Costs) (Amendment) Regulations 2021, Regulation 2: Amendments


The Electronic Communications (Universal Service) (Costs) Regulations 2020 are amended as follows—
(a) in regulation 2, after ““outstanding sum” has the meaning given in regulation 15(1);” insert in a new line ““public funds” means money provided by Parliament;”; and
(b) in regulations 7(2)(a), 7(3) and 15(2)(e) for “central funds” substitute “public funds”.
