# The Electronic Fingerprinting etc. Device Approval (Scotland) Order 1997, Article 2: Device approved


For the purpose of creating such records as are mentioned in paragraph (d) of section 18(7A) of the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1995 (record of a person’s skin on an external part of the body), the device known as the Digital Biometrics Incorporation (DBI) Tenprinter 1133S, with palmprint option, is hereby approved.
