  "text": "Electronic Communications\nMade 30th June 2016\nLaid before Parliament 1st July 2016\nComing into force 22nd July 2016\nThe Secretary of State is a Minister designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 in relation to electronic trust services and other systems to facilitate electronic transactions in the internal market.\nThese Regulations make provision for a purpose mentioned in section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 and it appears to the Secretary of State that it is expedient for the reference to Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market to be construed as a reference to that instrument as amended from time to time.\nThe Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of, and paragraph 1A of Schedule 2 to, the European Communities Act 1972.",
