# The Employment and Support Allowance (Amendment) Regulations 2012, Regulation 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Employment and Support Allowance (Amendment) Regulations 2012 and come into force on 28th January 2013.
(2) In these Regulations —
“the ESA Regulations” means the Employment and Support Allowance Regulations 2008; and
“the commencement date” means the date on which these Regulations come into force.
