# The Employment Appeal Tribunal (Amendment) Rules 2013, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 10th July 2013
Coming into force 29th July 2013
The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 30 and 34 of the Employment Tribunals Act 1996 makes the following Rules.
The Lord Chancellor has consulted with the Lord President of the Court of Session in accordance with section 30(1) of the Employment Tribunals Act 1996 before making these Rules.
