The Secretary of State, having consulted the scientific authorities to which the duty referred to in section 2(4) of the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act 1976^f1 is assigned, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 3(a) and (d)^f2 of that Act and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:–
