# The Energy Act 2004 (Commencement No. 11) Order 2014, Article 2: Commencement


For all remaining purposes, section 89 (activities offshore requiring 1989 Act licences) and section 180(1) (meaning of ‘high voltage line’) of the Act come into force on 10th June 2014.
