# The Energy Act 2008 (Consequential Modifications) (Offshore Environmental Protection) Order 2010, Article 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

(1) This Order may be cited as the Energy Act 2008 (Consequential Modifications) (Offshore Environmental Protection) Order 2010, and comes into force on 1st July 2010.
(2) In this Order—
(a) a reference to a numbered section is to that section of the Energy Act 2008; and
(b) “Energy Act licence” means a licence granted under section 4 or section 18.
