# Energy Act 2008, Section 106: Interpretation


In this Act—
“functions” includes powers and duties;
“modify” includes amend, add to, revoke or repeal (and references to “modifications” are to be construed accordingly);
“territorial sea” means the territorial sea adjacent to the United Kingdom.
