  "text": "The energy efficiency class of a dishwasher shall be determined as follows–\nA reference consumption CR shall be calculated as follows:\nCR = 1.35 + 0.025 × S\nwhen S ≥ 10\nCR = 0.45 + 0.09 × S\nwhen S ≤ 9\nwhere S is the capacity of the dishwasher in standard place settings (Schedule 1 paragraph 1 note VIII).\nAn energy efficiency index E1 is then set as\nE1=CCR where\nC is the energy consumption of the dishwasher (Schedule 1 paragraph 1 note V).\nThe energy efficiency class is then determined in accordance with Table 1:\nTABLE 1\nEnergy efficiency class\nEnergy efficiency index E1\nA\nE1 < 0.64\nB\n0.64 ≤ E1< 0.76\nC\n0.76 ≤ E1< 0.88\nD\n0.88 ≤ E1< 1.00\nE\n1.00 ≤ E1< 1.12\nF\n1.12 ≤ E1< 1.24\nG\nE1 ≥ 1.24",
