  "heading": "Power to amend this Part",
  "text": "(1) The Department may by order make such amendments to the preceding provisions of this Part as appear to the Department to be necessary or expedient—\n(a) to take account of any amendments made or proposed to be made to any of the corresponding Great Britain provisions; or\n(b) for giving effect to, or enabling effect to be given to—\n(i) any Community obligation; ...\n(ia) any assimilated obligation; or\n(ii) any arrangement or agreement entered into between the Government of the United Kingdom and the government of any other country.\n(2) In this Article “the corresponding Great Britain provisions” means—\n(a) sections 32 to 32C of the Electricity Act 1989 (c. 29); and\n(b) any provision amending or re-enacting (with or without modification) any provision mentioned in sub-paragraph (a).",
