# Energy Prices Act 2022, Paragraph 3: Amendments to 2018 Act

Extent: E+W+S

(1) Section 5 (publication and effect of modifications) is amended as follows.
(2) In subsection (4), for “56 days” substitute “25 working days”.
(3) After subsection (4) insert—
“(5) In subsection (4), “working day” means a day other than—
(a) Saturday or Sunday,
(b) Christmas Day or Good Friday, or
(c) a day which is a bank holiday under the Banking and Financial Dealings Act 1971 in any part of the United Kingdom.”
