# English Devolution and Community Empowerment Act 2026, Paragraph 34: Contributions by local authorities and statutory undertakers

(1) Section 306 is amended in accordance with this paragraph.
(2) In the following provisions, for “local authority” substitute “relevant authority”—
(a) the heading;
(b) subsection (1) (in the words before paragraph (a) and in paragraph (c));
(c) subsection (2) (in the words before paragraph (a));
(d) subsection (3) (in both places);
(e) subsection (4).
(3) After subsection (6) insert—
“(7) In this section “relevant authority” means—
(a) a local authority, or
(b) a non-mayoral combined authority or non-mayoral CCA.”
