  "text": "(1) Section 44 (interpretation) is amended as follows.\n(2) In subsection (1)—\n(a) at the appropriate places insert—\n““advisory notice” has the meaning given by paragraph 8(1) of Schedule 8;”;\n““external registration body” means a body designated under section 6A(2)(b);”;\n““firm” means any entity (whether or not a legal person) which is not an individual, including—\n(a) a body corporate,\n(b) a corporation sole, and\n(c) a partnership or other unincorporated association,\nbut does not include the Local Audit Office;”;\n““local audit register” has the meaning given by section 6A(4);”;\n““registered local audit provider” has the meaning given by section 6A(4);”;\n(b) for the definition of “recognised qualifying body” substitute—\n““recognised qualifying body” has the meaning given by paragraph 6 of Schedule 1D;”;\n(c) omit the definition of “recognised supervisory body”.\n(3) Omit subsection (3).\n(4) In subsection (4), for “paragraph 8 of Schedule 4” substitute “section 43A”.",
