  "heading": "Further provision about standards",
  "text": "(1) National standards may relate to any of the following—\n(a) persons applying for or holding regulated licences;\n(b) other persons;\n(c) vehicles;\n(d) the types of services provided using taxis or private hire vehicles;\n(e) premises;\n(f) any other matters which appear to the Secretary of State to be appropriate.\n(2) National standards may require action to be taken (for example undertaking training, or installing or using equipment, technology or services).\n(3) National standards prescribed under section 72 or 73 may (in particular) relate to regulated licences granted before the regulations come into force.\n(4) This section does not limit the kinds of national standards that may be prescribed.",
