# The Enterprise Act 2002 (Merger Prenotification) Regulations 2003, Regulation 6: Rejection of a merger notice


A rejection of a merger notice under section 99(5) of the Act shall be given in writing and such a notice shall be treated as having been rejected at the time when the rejection is sent to the person who gave the merger notice or a person acting on his behalf.
