# The Environment Act 1995 (Consequential Amendment) Regulations 1999, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 9th April 1999
Laid before Parliament 15th April 1999
Coming into force 6th May 1999
The Secretary of State, being satisfied that it is necessary, by reason of the coming into force of provisions of the Environment Act 1995, to make an additional consequential amendment of the public general enactment specified in these Regulations, in exercise of his powers under section 120(1) of the Environment Act 1995, hereby makes the following Regulations:
