# The Environmental Authorisations (Scotland) Regulations 2018, Paragraph 29: Air emission limit values: general compliance


The emission limit values for air are to be regarded as being complied with where—
(a) none of the daily average values exceed any of the emission limit values set out in paragraph 18(4) of this schedule or as calculated in accordance with Chapter 4 of this schedule,
(b) (i) none of the half-hourly average values exceeds any of the emission limit values set out in column 1 of Table 3 under paragraph 18(5) of this schedule, or
(ii) where relevant, 97% of the half-hourly average values over the year do not exceed any of the emission limit values set out in column 2 of Table 3 under paragraph 18(5) of this schedule,
(c) none of the average values over the sampling period set out for heavy metals and dioxins and furans exceeds the emission limit values set out in paragraph 18(6) and (7) of this schedule or as calculated in accordance with Chapter 4 of this schedule.
