  "heading": "Rates of payment under agreement",
  "text": "(1) Subject to paragraph (2) below, payments made by the Secretary of State under an agreement shall be either–\n(a) (i) in the case of an agreement with a crofter or farmer regarding his croft or farm land and apportioned land, at the rate of £15 per annum per hectare of inbye land with an additional payment of £1 per annum for each hectare of other land to which the agreement relates;\n(ii) in the case of an agreement with a common grazings committee, at the rate of £1 per annum for each hectare of land to which the agreement relates; or\n(b) at the rate of £1,500 per annum for any one crofter, farmer or common grazings committee,\nwhichever is the lower.\n(2) Payments to a crofter, farmer or common grazings committee shall be at the rate of not less than £250 per annum.",
