  "text": "“SCHEDULE 1\nCAPITAL ACTIVITIES\nArticles 2(1) and 5(1)\nThe planting, laying, gapping or coppicing of hedges.\nThe creation or restoration of ponds, pools and lakes and the restoration of ditches.\nThe control of scrub, reedbeds or small groups of trees.\nThe provision of fencing to protect wildlife interest in and around ditches.\nWorks to protect historic and archaeological features.\nThe provision and restoration of gates, stiles and footbridges where an agreement includes requirements as to public access.\nRe-introduction of pollarding management for neglected trees.\nTree-planting.\nThe renovation of farm buildings using traditional materials.\nThe creation of scrapes.\nThe provision or restoration of water control structures.\nThe restoration of reedbeds and sedgebeds.\nThe provision of water supplies and fencing where necessary for the re-introduction of grazing.\nThe provision of cattle drinking bays.\nThe provision of silt traps in water courses.\nPurchase of a seed mixture for arable reversion.\nOther works for the restoration or enhancement of wildlife habitats.”",
