  "text": "“SCHEDULE 2\nMANAGEMENT ACTIVITIES\nArticles 2(1) and 5(1)\nColumn 1\nColumn 2\nActivity\nMaximum rate in £ per hectare of land per annum (except where otherwise stated)\n1.\nMaintenance of cultivated land\n20\n2.\nMaintenance of permanent grassland\n35\n3.\nManagement of extensive permanent grassland\n50\n4.\nWhere management of the kind referred to in item 2 or 3 above is undertaken, additional management so as to conserve meadow land\n90\n5.\nWhere management of the kind referred to in item 2 or 3 above is undertaken, additional management for the purposes of enhancing biodiversity through restrictions on stocking\n60\n6.\nIn relation to moorland:\n(a) maintenance of moorland\n75\n(b) where management of the kind referred to in item 6(a) above is undertaken, additional management for the purposes of enhancing biodiversity through the removal of 50% of livestock from moorland\n4.50\n(c) where management of the kind referred to in item 6(a) above is undertaken, additional management for the purposes of enhancing biodiversity through the removal of all livestock from moorland over winter\n16\n(d) enhanced management of moorland over winter\n95\n7.\nWhere management of the kind referred to in item 1, 2, 3 or 6(a) above is undertaken, additional management so as to create or enhance wet areas\n160\n8.\nIn relation to woodland:\n(a) maintenance of existing woodland\n20\n(b) management of woodland to enhance its nature conservation and landscape value\n150\n9.\nHedge restoration\n£5 per metre\n10.\nManagement of any kind referred to in items 1 to 9 above which is undertaken in relation to common land.\n5\n11.\nThe provision of public access routes\n170\n”",
