# The Environmentally Sensitive Areas (Stewartry) Designation Amendment Order 2001, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Environmentally Sensitive Areas (Stewartry) Designation Order 1993 by allowing the farmer within the meaning of that Order to take measures to create dykes, hedges and ponds as well as restore existing dykes, hedges and ponds.
