This Order amends the Environmentally Sensitive Areas (Ynys Mo*n) Designation Order 1993 (“the principal Order”).

Article 6(3) of the principal Order provided, amongst other things, that the annual rate of payment under an agreement for coastal belt which included heather should be £35 per hectare. This amending Order provides that the annual rate of payment for such coastal belt shall be £5 per hectare (article 2).
