# The Equality Act 2006 (Commencement No.1) Order 2006, Article 1: Citation and interpretation


(1) This Order may be cited as the Equality Act 2006 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2006.
(2) In this Order —
“the 2006 Act” means the Equality Act 2006; and
“the 1975 Act” means the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 .
